Cyntwell enjoys an excellent location in the heart of Padstow’s historic Old Town, just 200 metres from the Harbour and only 50 metres from the nearest shops and restaurants. This beautifully restored 18th Century Cottage retains many of its original features and character while offering the modern comforts needed for a relaxing stay.
Bright and south-facing, Cyntwell has large windows and inviting window seats overlooking the rooftops and streets of the Old Town. We offer four individually styled en-suite bedrooms: three double rooms and one twin room. Each double room has both a bath and shower, providing the perfect opportunity to unwind after a day exploring Padstow and the North Cornwall Coast.
Our Bedrooms
Each of our four individually styled bedrooms has a private en-suite bathroom, with most offering both a bath and shower. Every bedroom has been thoughtfully furnished to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay, with tea and coffee-making facilities, a digital television, complimentary Wi-Fi, a hairdryer and quality toiletries.
Our bedrooms feature soft Egyptian or Supima cotton bed linen, large fluffy towels and thick wool carpets. The bathrooms combine Fired Earth tiles with wide reclaimed pitch-pine flooring, while full central heating keeps Cyntwell warm and welcoming throughout the year.
Padstow Town
Set on the beautiful Camel Estuary, Padstow is a picturesque Harbour town surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery and peaceful sandy beaches. Sheltered from the Atlantic by the dramatic headlands of Stepper Point and Pentire Point, it offers wonderful views across the estuary and along the North Cornwall Coast.
At the heart of the town is its historic working Harbour, where fishing boats, pleasure cruises and the passenger ferry to Rock create a lively and welcoming atmosphere throughout the year. Take a leisurely stroll around the Harbour, browse the independent shops or relax at a waterside cafe and watch the world go by.
