Individually Styled Bedrooms
All four of our individually styled bedrooms are en-suite, offering a comfortable and relaxing place to stay in the heart of Padstow. Most rooms have both a bath and shower, giving you the choice of a refreshing shower or a long, leisurely soak after a day exploring the town and surrounding coastline.
Each room includes tea and coffee-making facilities, a digital television, complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. We take particular care over the finishing touches, with beautifully soft Supima or Egyptian cotton bed linen and large, fluffy towels provided for every stay.
Comfort Throughout Your Stay
Comfort and quality continue throughout the property. The bedrooms feature thick wool carpets, while the bathrooms combine Fired Earth tiles with wide reclaimed pitch-pine flooring. Full central heating keeps Cyntwell warm and welcoming throughout the year, making it an ideal choice for both summer visits and cosy winter breaks.
Historic Character and Modern Comfort
Cyntwell is a beautifully renovated 18th Century Cottage that retains much of its original charm and character. The property has been thoughtfully refurbished to a high standard, combining period features with the modern comforts guests expect, including complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.

Our location is one of Cyntwell’s greatest attractions. We are situated in the heart of Padstow’s historic Old Town, just 200 metres from the Harbour and only a short walk from the town’s excellent restaurants, pubs, cafes and independent shops.
You can enjoy everything Padstow has to offer without needing to travel, while our position away from the busiest part of the harbour provides a peaceful and relaxing place to return to at the end of the day.
Peaceful Accommodation
Cyntwell offers a calm, adults-only environment for guests aged 18 and over. The property is entirely non-smoking/non-vaping, and we are unable to accommodate guests’ pets, helping us maintain a clean, comfortable and restful atmosphere for everyone staying with us.
