Choose from four individually styled en-suite bedrooms, each offering its own character and modern comforts within our beautifully restored 18th-century cottage. We have three double rooms and one twin room, with most featuring both a bath and shower.
All prices are room-only, giving you the freedom to enjoy Padstow’s excellent cafes and breakfast venues at your own pace. With a generous 11am check-out time, you can enjoy a leisurely morning or a lie-in before wandering into town for breakfast, with plenty of tempting options just a short walk from Cyntwell.
Samphire
Samphire is a bright and comfortable twin en-suite room situated on the first floor. Decorated in calming shades of cream and chambray, it provides a welcoming space in which to relax after a day exploring Padstow.
The room has two separate 3-foot single beds, which cannot be joined together. Its private en-suite bathroom includes a shower, washbasin and toilet.

Tamarisk
Tamarisk is a light and airy double en-suite room situated on the first floor. This characterful, double-fronted room is decorated in warm shades of cream, green and raspberry, creating a bright and welcoming space in which to relax.
The private en-suite bathroom includes a shower, an extra-deep bath, a washbasin and toilet.
Please be aware that Tamarisk has areas of reduced head height. If you or your partner are particularly tall, one of our double rooms on the top floor may be more suitable.

Thrift
Thrift is a charming double en-suite room situated at the top of the house. With its traditional cast-iron bed, exposed beams and attractive shades of raspberry, green and cream, the room combines the character of Cyntwell’s historic cottage with modern comfort.
Windows at both the front and rear allow plenty of natural light and fresh air into the room, creating a particularly pleasant breeze during warmer summer evenings.
The spacious primrose-yellow en-suite bathroom includes a bath, separate shower, washbasin and toilet.

Marram
Marram is an inviting double en-suite room situated at the top of the house. Recently refreshed with colourful purple, pink and lime soft furnishings, it features exposed beams, beautiful antique pine furniture and a comfortable velvet window seat.
The bedroom window offers charming views across Padstow’s rooftops towards the surrounding woodland, creating a peaceful place to relax and watch the world go by.
The lilac en-suite bathroom includes an extra-deep bath, separate shower, washbasin and toilet.
